Job Title: Health Care Assistant Levels 2 and 3
Department: Behavioural Service (Coombes, Wolfson and Wellesley)
Salary range:
Hours of work: 150 hours over a 4 week period (approximately 37.5 hours per week). A long shift is 12 hours. You also have the opportunity for enhanced payments for additional hours worked, and to join our ‘Flexible Workforce’ (Putney Bank).
Location: Putney, Southwest London

Summary Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability
The Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability is a leading national centre of excellence, providing adult person-centred services that span the entire care pathway from post-acute rehabilitation services to end of life care, for people with complex Neuro-disability and their families, underpinned by a strong research and education programme.
This role is based within the Neuro-Behavioural Services which provides assessment and rehabilitation for adult with challenging behaviour resulting from a brain injury before discharge to community and those who need long term behaviour management. The service use the Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) approach which focuses on using the positive techniques to promote adaptive behaviours. The Huntington Disease pathway which is within the behavioural Service provides excellent care and support for patients who have high complex needs and their families. It encourages independence and maximises patient’s quality of life.
