Healthcare Assistant 

Band 2 and 3 Healthcare Assistants

Salary £22,857- £24,141 Per Annum

Permanent part-time & full-time (37.5 hours a week)

The RHN is a leading national centre of excellence, providing adult person-centred services that span the entire care pathway from post-acute rehabilitation services to end of life care, for people with complex Neuro-disability and their families, underpinned by a strong research and education programme.  

To work as part of the multi-disciplinary team assisting the registered nurses in delivering a high standard of care to the patient and residents of the hospital. You will act as an associate worker for an identified group of patients under the supervision of registered nurses or NVQ healthcare assistants ensuring the implementation of programmes of care.

Training, education and support available within this service:

-          2 weeks supernumery working upon recruitment

-          Supported probationary programme

-          supported Care certificate programme

-          Complex postural management,

-          Tracheostomy and specialist airway management,

-          Gastrostomy and jejunostomy care,

-          Allocated time for CPD

-          Clinical skills specialised training and workshops

-          Opportunities for Nurse Associate programmes

-          Clinical competency based program to support career progression

-          Support and further training/ skills from our in-house specialist nurse teams including tissue viability, continence care, respiratory care, palliative    care, infection control, gastrostomy care.

-          RCN Accredited Putney HCA programme
